June 2012 Mayfield & Easthouses Gala Day The 4th Annual Mayfield & Easthouses Gala Day will be taking place on Saturday 2nd June 2012, with the parade begining at 1.30pm. MAEDT will be there from 12am til 4pm, so feel free to come along and check out the various projects, news and opportunities we have to offer. Bring the kids along as well as we will have various games to win prizes such as Cup Tumble and Treasure Hunt. May 2012 **PEEP Assistant Vacancy**
As part of the Mayfield PEEP Groups. Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust(MAEDT) are seeking to employ a PEEP Assistant to assist the co-ordinator in our PEEP Group on Monday Afternoons. PEEP is for all families with children from birth to school age. It supports parents and carers to give their child a flying start in their learning through sharing songs, stories, discussions and of course play! The MAEDT PEEP group is for one year olds and runs at St Anne and St Lukes Church, from 1.30pm -2.30pm 1 1/2 hours per week Hourly Rate: £7.24 Previous Child Care/PEEP experience an advantage but not required as training will be provided. meeting at 12 Bogwood Court, Mayfield. The next walk will be a little
longer than last time taking 30 - 40 minutes and as before the group
will agree a route with the walk leader on the day of the walk. We are
still looking for more walking group leaders and we will provide all the necessary training required. The walk will resume next week at the same time and location. 12th May 2012, Mayfield Spring Cleanup We are looking for volunteers to spare a couple of hours on Saturday 12th May to help clean up the Kilns as part of the Mayfield Spring Cleanup. If you are unsure of where the Kilns is we we are meeting at 10.00am at the MAEDT office, 12 Bogwood Court, Mayfield and then making our way to the site.
